Who we are
SIMStation was founded in 2011 by two collaborating professional service companies with 20 years of experience in the fields of multimedia software, as well as broadcasting and stage media technology. Our young Vienna based company with over 20 employees designs and develops highly innovative audio-visual systems for medical simulation, and advises simulation and training centers on the planning and implementation of simulation-technology facilities.
Our interdisciplinary team consists of software developers, designers, media technicians, architects and engineers. In our own laboratory and workshops we research and develop, in close collaboration with our international clients, innovative solutions for the future of medical simulation.
The entire process of software development and hardware production takes place in our own facility. As technicians and enthusiasts of medical simulation we see it as our duty to set a new standard in the field of audio-visual debriefing. With our mobile and stationary AV installations we want to facilitate more effective debriefings through an increased operational quality and ease.
Since 2013 we have implemented numerous SIMStation systems in 14 different countries so far. We have been the supplier for the individual in situ facilities up to major simulation centers. Our customers include renowned medical universities in London, Paris, Munich and Vienna.
SIMStation is distributed worldwide, either directly from our headquarters in Vienna (for Northern and Western Europe), or through another distributor and partner, e.g. for the US and Middle East. In order to continually discover and learn about the demands for further development of our systems, our employees attend in situ training all over Europe and take part in national and international simulation events.
